Last Saturday we had a great time at our Christmas Decorations workshop. The girls and boys who took part shared a fun...
The children who attended made a postcard for Santa Claus with recycled materials. We also made a lovely snowman to hang on our Christmas trees at home from just a few bits of card, some straws, EVA foam, and lots and lots of glitter, so that every boy and girl went home proud of their masterpiece!
The best part of all was seeing how the children worked together to make their decorations, with the older ones helping out the younger ones, and the younger ones… putting glitter in everyone’s hair!
Without a doubt, it was a fun and different way to spend a morning. We sang Christmas carols, made new friends and Alba even showed us the dance she would be dancing in her Christmas show! Thank you Alba, you wowed us all!
Watch this space for more information about our next workshop. We hope to see you there!
At this time of year, it’s not about the WHAT but the HOW. Don’t go looking for huge gifts, or the latest toys. Your children will be overjoyed to spend fun time with you, making a car out of cardboard boxes, or a drum set out of plastic bins.
